ERICA LANE
A prolific songwriter and accomplished vocalist, Erica Lane has uniquely fused contemporary pop with sweeping ballads and romantic orchestral impressions. The result has birthed spell-binding lyrics and colorful melodies; her songs reveal a poetic expression of faith and vulnerabilities.
Lane's ability to arrange extended vocal works not only stems from her degree in music education but also from an experience that took her to England as a singer in the Texas Tech University Choir, which was the US representative at the British Choral Convention. This cathedral tour gave Lane an insight on mixing excellence in tradition with modern originality.
A former Miss Houston, Erica has performed for Johnny High's Music Review and Ruth Graham and Friends at Billy Graham's Cove, headlined for the Tennessee State Fair, performed at the National House of Hope conference, opened for George Lopez at the Moondance Awards Gala in Beverly Hills, and recurs as a special music guest at The Promise at the Texas Amphitheater.
Erica has been a guest on Music City Late Night, Daybreak USA, Harvest Show, TBN, On Air With Tony Sweet, Atlanta Live, The Miracle Network, Soul2Soul Radio, TCT Network, Cornerstone, Downtown Radio in Belfast, and other TV and radio shows across the US and UK.
During the last five years, Lane has toured across the US, Canada, Ireland, England, and Africa, recently performing a benefit concert for Japan's tsunami relief. She has starred in a family friendly reality TV series, Inspired Ambition, syndicated on national networks (FamilyNet, JCTV, Cornerstone TV) in the US, Canada, Africa, Estonia, Finland, Poland, Romania, India, and others. The DVD box set is available in Lifeway and Family Christian Stores by Cloud Ten/E1 Entertainment.
No stranger to the entertainment industry, Lane's music has been featured on almost a dozen film and television soundtracks, starring such actors as Ving Rhames (of Mission Impossible), Pat Boone, Brian Litrell (of Backstreet Boys), Jane Russell (of Gentlemen Prefer Blondes), Eric Close (of Without a Trace), and Muse Watson (of NCIS, Prison Break). As she continues to produce stunning, imaginative lyrics and melodies, the demand grows for her involvement in cinematic productions.
Entering a new season of music-making, Erica Lane has released a 5 song EP album called River Road, which launched her to #1 on ReverbNation's HOT 100 charts. Her latest Christmas album 'A Merry Little Christmas' had glowing reviews, acclaimed by OnCourse Magazine as the Classic Christmas Standout for 2011.

About The TV Show
Inspired Ambition is a 13-episode reality TV series based on Erica Lane's decision to step away from a normal day job and begin a career as an inspirational recording artist.
